The NCDC tour is an opportunity for students to better understand the work done by the NCDC in protecting the health of Nigerians. The agency is opening up its National Reference Laboratory in Gaduwa, Abuja so students can learn more about the role the institution plays in detecting, stopping and preventing infectious disease outbreaks. The NCDC will aim to offer a well- structured learning experience to schools, open to students in primary and secondary schools.
One day every month will be dedicated to the laboratory tour. A maximum of three schools (no more than 30 students per slot) can be accepted in one day, at different time slots. Each tour will last for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Registration forms will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The selected schools will receive an official invitation letter from the NCDC at least one week after their application, and invited to submit a list of 30 (students and accompanying teacher) who will be on the tour with the format below:
