CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SALE OF A BUILDING FOR USE AS ADDITIONAL OFFICE SPACE FOR THE NIGERIA CENTRE FOR DISEASE CONTROL, HEADQUARTERS, JABI ABUJA

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is desirous of acquiring a building for use as additional office block to accommodate staff and offices, in a bid to resolve the challenges posed by inadequate office space. In this regard, the Centre is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) from individuals and organizations to indicate interest in the sale of their property within the vicinity/neighbourhood of the NCDC Administrative Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja.

2.0 DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY

i. The property must be at least, the equivalent of a block of Three (3) floors of Six (6) 3 or 4 Bedroom flats, and/or have large floors suitable for office accommodation.

ii. Finished properties are preferred, however EOIs for uncompleted buildings with merit, shall also be considered.

iii. The property must be situated within the vicinity of the Headquarters of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Jabi, Abuja, specifically along Paul Unongo Crescent, off Ebitu Ukiwe Street, Jabi, Abuja.

iv. The property must have a Building Plan, and approvals from relevant authorities.

v. The property must have adequate parking space for official and staff vehicles, and must be easily accessible.

3.0 EOI REQUIREMENTS:

Interested individuals/organizations are to submit an offer of sale with detailed price stated clearly. Other accompanying information on the building, including the drawings/Building Plan approvals from relevant authorities should also be submitted alongside.

For Corporate organizations, the following documents/information with verifiable evidence are to be submitted along with the offer for assessment and consideration:

i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC 1.1 or CAC2 and CAC7.

ii. Evidence of Company Income’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2021.

iii. Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (this requirement is only applicable to bidders whose number of staff is 15 and above).

iv. Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021 (this requirement is only applicable to bidders whose number of staff is 5 and above, or the bidder’s annual turnover is N50m and above).

v. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021.

vi. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years - 2019, 2020 & 2021.

4.0 SUBMISSION

All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company’s Letter Head (for corporate organizations) bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.), and e-mail address. The Letterheaded Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm).

Interested individuals/organizations are to provide their best offer in a sealed envelope with their/company name and address boldly written at the back, and addressed to:

The deadline for submission is on, or before 12 NOON, FRIDAY 24TH JUNE, 2022.

5.0 OPENING OF SUBMISSIONS

The submissions will be opened immediately after the deadline on Friday, 24th June, 2022, in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.

6.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

i. The submission must be in English and must be signed by the bidder.

ii. Submissions made after the deadline will not be attended to.
